There is a small public park in front of our house that we visit every now and then. After spending some time in the bold heat there is desperate need for a Chai from the Chai-Shack at the corner of this park.
It is beautifully situated in the shade under a huge tree. Some men are standing around the small open stall with the gas heater and the old pot in the middle. Every now and then a Rickshawdriver or some guys from the construction sites around are passing by to pick up some beedies (kind of a cigarette), cookies or Chai.
As I arrive one of the men standing around insists to invite me for a "special Chai". He directs the Chaibrewmaster to "make special" so he pours extra milk and sugar in the pot. Although the pot and the sieve look pretty nasty the Chai tastes very good and so far (10 hours after drinking) I did not get sick.
