Finally we did our first trip with our own car in Delhi. It has been a little while since I last drove my own car in India. Back in 2010 we were cruising with our Honda City in Mumbai. Compared to that experience traffic in Delhi is calm - although the odd and even scheme that is active at the moment might influence the amount of traffic a little.
After three years of left side driving in Germany little adaptation time was needed to be back on the right side system. Plus: driving without horning in Germany was so quiet. Now things have changed a little in India and more and more cars are seen with a sticker at the back saying "No honking please!" I can live with that.
