094/2016 - Delhi goes Uber

At the moment getting around the city is not so much of a problem for us as we thought it would be. Compared to Mumbai the traffic during the day is reasonable. Only rushhour sucks - but hey, this is normal in any other big city - especially in Heide / Dithmarschen.

So far, without our own car, we have already tried some possibilities for urban commuting. Walking is definitely a great way to explore any city. At the moment due to the heat only an option during the morning or evening hours. Rickshaw is THE thrilling mode of transport. Taxi is comfortable but maybe a bit expensive. And now comes Uber. The whole thing with the App and the payment and the visibility of who your driver is, and were the car is and how much more minutes you have to wait - all that is amazing. And it is even more amazing, that all this works super smooth in Delhi. Our first Delhi Uber ride was both, great and cheap, and it was not our last one!
