Since I proudly own a small 3D printing machine, and since I learned to draw simple 3D objects in a CAD Software and print them (what magic!), the idea to design and 3D-print my own (sun-) glasses is in my head. For five weeks I am working continuously on this and have already made several prototypes. However - this task is not easy. Many things are quite complex and not going as smooth as I thought: finding the right dimensions Making tricky details like the hinges right Finding the right "style" to avoid a funny and/or cheap look achieving a comfortable fit But it is still fun to test and re-design. The images of the sketches and prototypes are telling their own story. Finally, a couple of days ago, I took the frame to a local optician and had the glasses fitted. Model: Kiran
